The McAllister Group was recently tasked by the London Borough of Harrow with carrying out drainage repair works on two collapsed sections of a 100mm foul water drain which was discharging from Pinner Cricket Club in Middlesex. The repair works involved excavating, exposing, breaking-out and replacing the damaged pipe with new 150mm diameter UPVC pipework. The collapsed stretch of pipe measured 4m. Once the collapsed sections were removed, the entire length of defective sewer which was 50 m x 100mm from Manhole to Manhole was relined. The area was backfilled, compacted and returned to its original state with excess spoil removed from the site.
